Meet the team
At Ball club art club, I make graphic artwork inspired by the moments, players, teams and visual culture that have shaped the history of sport. A lot of my inspiration comes from everything surrounding the game: the iconic players, the teams I grew up watching, the kits, sponsors, typography, and all the little design details that made each period feel like its own world. It’s not just about what happened on the pitch, but everything around the game that gave each era its own identity.
I take those familiar references and rework them through a graphic design lens. I’m drawn to the print styles, textures and visual quirks of the past, and try to bring some of that character into each piece. The goal is for the work to feel bold and tactile, but still sit naturally in a modern space. At the heart of it I’m trying to make artwork that means something to people who love sport. Designs that capture a player, a team, a season or a moment, while also reflecting the culture and visual language that surrounded it.
For me, Ball club art club is a way of bringing together my two biggest passions: sport and design. My career has allowed me to work in sport on a daily basis, but I’ve always felt there was more I could do with my design background. Creating sports artwork that goes beyond traditional memorabilia and that people would genuinely want in their homes. It starts with prints, but the idea is to grow into a wider range of products built around the same thing: framing the culture and design of sport in a way that feels bold, playful and personal.
